Obituary of Barbara Urban

Barbara J. Urban, age 88 of Trainer, PA passed away on April 25, 2024 at Riddle Memorial Hospital. Born to James & Doris Bloodsworth Mackey in Chester, PA, Barbara has resided in Trainer, PA for many years previously residing in Chester, PA. Barbara was a secretary for 35 years working for her son-in-law, Peter J. O'Konski Inc.. She previously worked for Wyeth Lab in West Chester as well as Boeing for 1 year. Barbara enjoyed bowling in her younger years as well as gardening and spending time during the summers at Rehoboth Beach. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Urban who died in 1997, her 1st former husband, Richard Boates, 2 sons, Ricky Boates who died in 2007 and Richard Boates who died as an infant, daughter, Barbara Larsen who died in 2012 and a brother, James "Ronnie" Mackey. She is survived by her son, Robert (Elaine) Boates, daughter, Karyn (Pete) O'Konski, 13 grandchildren and several great grandchildren & great great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on May 2nd, Thursday, 6-8PM and also Friday, 9-10AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd. Garnet Valley, PA followed by funeral services at 10AM.
